| Description | CX CITY is an apparel and art project based out of the coastal LAX area of southern California that embodies the spirit of the city’s lifestyle as well as the visuals of its surroundings. Formally founded by Tyler W. in late 2008 he was later joined by long time friend and former bandmate Ryan R. in early 2009. Both friends had spend years on the road touring and have cited their mutual love for design and music as a driving force in the progression of the brand. Taking the ambitious attitude and hard work ethic that they had used to propel their former band from the local stage to an international level and applying it to the brand, they began working from their homes & garages they’ve been able to design and print everything themselves. Their “hands on” approach with the brand has added an authentic and genuine touch in an industry where a D.I.Y. mentality is a rarity.Drawing inspiration from their coastal surroundings, an upbringing within the underground music scene, and progressive design; CX CITY strives to bring aesthetically pleasing designs through the medium of apparel and art. Today CX CITY offers a variety of graphic tees and tanks for sale through their online shop and in select LAX area retailers. Their website also includes an online-zine styled blog that features regular updates giving their customers an inside look at what goes on behind the scenes at the brand, interviews with artists/musicians, as well as an assortment of insightful film and music posts.
